About: Specialist Therapy Services / Community Stroke Team – South Notts

(as a carer),

Margaret came to see my mum when she got home from hospital and she and Tracey and Jayne and Dina have been working with her since then. Mum's improved so much - her confidence has got better as she's improved and she's still getting better. She can understand us now and we can understand her and have a conversation, even on the phone - it just wasn't possible when she first had her stroke.

We're really grateful to the team - they have worked so hard and it's really paid off.

We wish you could stay involved but understand that she needs to move to another team. We will all miss you.

Thank you for taking the time to feedback on your experience of the Community Stroke Team. The team always strive to offer the best service they possibly can and this feedback is fantastic. I will ensure that Margaret, Tracey, Jayne and Dina received your kind words.

It is really important to us that our clients, families and carers let us know how well / or not we are doing in order that we shape the delivery of services to become as patient centered as we can.

I'm very pleased that your mother has been able to grow in confidence with her recovery and we wish her a continued recovery and all the very best for the future.
