"I felt valued throughout my pregnancy and birth experience"

I was very well supported by my midwife Lauren She was helpful, informative and most importantly was very patient centred. She discussed my thoughts and supported my decisions. She is very much an asset to the PRI midwifery team and was definitely focused on providing the best care.

In addition, the team at Ninewells for a planned elective c-section, were so comforting, calm and relaxed. All midwives supporting my care over the 2 days were fantastic (Logan, Jade and Erin), I appreciate the ward was under staffed (I believe some of the midwives were from different areas (i.e. Jade from community Angus team) but the staff remained very supportive and caring throughout.

During the procedure, all staff were amazing, the anaesthesiologist- Stephanie (I think was her name) was so calm and responsive. Also, the wider team were very caring and respectful when my husband was slightly wheezy at the start. Dr Suttie was very good and kept me up to date throughout the procedure and my gorgeous son was delivered safely.

Overall, the whole team were amazing and I wanted to express my appreciation and gratitude as I felt valued throughout my pregnancy and birth experience and my wishes respected. Thank you all.
