Finally got an appointment after a year. Online booking system wasn’t working and no one around on phones to answer in Feb 2022. When I got an appointment randomly made for me about a week ago, the consultant I spoke to was lovely and referred me on.
Ruined by the receptionist berating me for a late notice cancellation despite giving me one working day notice that I actually had the appointment (letter was dated the Thursday, received the letter Friday, opened it after I returned from work and all the lines were closed, appointment on the Monday). People work full time and can’t just drop things at such short notice. The great clinical staff are let down by clerical staff.
