I went in for day surgery up at Stobhill. I was really nervous as I have never had more than a sprained ankle to deal with, although from the moment I checked in I was greeted by a Nurse (I think her name was Morag) and I was instantly laughing and joking with her. I got to choose my bed (I was number five) right by the window, which was nice.
From all the nurses, anesthesia team, surgeon and then the Physio, I was honestly blown away by how caring, friendly and attentive they all were.
At a time where the NHS is obviously stretched and under pressure, I received a first class service and it made me feel really humble due to how the staff treated me. It was such an experience, and although I was in for surgery I had such a nice time being cared for by really nice human beings and I'm so grateful.
