My 16-month-old has recently been in the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow, Ward 3c. This was the second time he had been in, the previous being 6 weeks before. He was very poorly.
The orthopaedic team and the nursing and support staff on the ward were just incredible. They were supportive, kind, friendly, super professional, adaptable to my little one, informative and communicative with me. I felt we were looked after as a family and not just my son as a patient.
They really did go above and beyond considering how stretched the NHS are at this time. They also remembered us from our previous, which surprised me as they see so many patients. I couldn’t have felt more confident with the care my son received. They all made such a worrying and stressful time a much better experience. We are so grateful and thankful.
"Fantastic care and support"
