About: Dame Carol Detoxification Service

(as a service user),

I attended The Dame Carol Detoxification Service and succeeded in detoxing from opiates. I was made to feel welcome and feel at ease from the staff and the other patients. 

I was pleased to have my own quarters with ensuite facilities. 

Currently on day 3 off of opiates, feeling okay in myself.  Completed a rapid detox from Subutex.   Feel very supported and looked after the whole time I have been here with both physical and mental well being. 

An area for improvement would be the  bedding and an area for exercise once or twice a week.  Would like to have visitors and go out for the day.

The team endeavour to always ensure your stay here is as comfortable as it can be so it's great to hear you were put at ease upon arrival. We're glad you felt supported and looked after throughout your stay and that you felt your ensuite room was suitable for you.

Thank you for the feedback around the areas we could improve on. We have actually enquired about multiple different activities and are currently trying to implement these along with updating the mattresses and bedding to make your stay even more comfortable.
