"Empathy, understanding and skill"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

(as the patient),

I was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome in 2017 which left me with paralysis down the left side of my face. The nerves regrew several months later, however I've been left with Synkinesis which affects my mental and physical wellbeing.

I was recently referred to Miss Dhillon by my GP. She has shown great empathy, understanding and skill in treating me and has been a real encouragement. She took a lot of time to listen to my concerns and discomfort and has gone to great lengths to think of different treatments to improve my condition, which I very much appreciate. Her support and kindness has been invaluable.
