"We both felt reassured by her visits"

About: Community Physiotherapy

(as a relative),

My husband was referred for physiotherapy following a visit by Jane from the Occupational Therapy department. As a result of mini strokes, my husband has wide gait and is quite unsteady on his feet.

When Angela came to see him, she checked out his muscle strength (which she said was good) and took him through a series of exercises. She also observed him using our treadmill. My husband was also bothered with fingers continually locking when bent and was given hand exercises. These are very simple to follow so it is easy for my husband to keep doing them.

We are so grateful to Angela for her professional input and advice. We both felt reassured by her visits. We also appreciate her offer to see my husband again should he need further help.

Dear doradokr35,

Many thanks for sharing your positive feedback regarding the Physiotherapy input your husband received from Angela. I'm glad that your husband found the exercises helpful, and that you were both reassured by her visits.

I hope your husband continues to benefit from the treatment and advice she provided but please do not hesitate to contact Angela again should you wish further input.

Kind regards

Morag
