"My triggers are still ongoing but I can cope a lot better now"

About: Inclusion Thurrock (Talking Therapies)

(as the patient),

I had an awful attack 2 years ago which triggered other things that have happened to me to the surface. I thought I was handling things ok until I broke down to my GP who gave me inclusion number.

They were very friendly and helpful and gave me the right support and therapist which I clicked with and was able to open up and manage my way of thinking and be more positive.

My triggers are still ongoing but I can cope a lot better now. I still have down days but I go through the motions of what I was guided.

I will be having catch up session and hopefully I can let go of the last demons

Thank you inclusion and specially my therapist who knew when I was holding back xx

Hi Mia65,

Firstly, thank you for taking the time to provide valuable feedback regarding your time at Inclusion Thurrock.

It is great to know that from the beginning you have felt Inclusion Thurrock was a friendly and supportive service. Having a good rapport with your therapist is very important in therapy, as well as feeling comfortable and open. So knowing you had this with your therapist is really good.

It sounds like you worked hard with the support of your therapist to learn new techniques and are continuing to use them in your recovery journey. We hope the last session will continue with this.

Thank you for your kind words regarding Inclusion Thurrock and your therapist. We hope others reading your feedback will be encouraged to seek support.

Best wishes

Heidi
