"Infection Control concerns"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary

(as a service user),

Whilst walking from the car park to the front entrance I was surprised to see  several staff members leaving their cars and heading to work wearing green  surgical scrubs, one person stepped off a bus wearing them. It was my understanding that these should not be taken home or worn to and from home/different sites for infection prevention and control? Is there a dress policy?

Dear Bizzylizzy,

Thank you for your comment. NHS Grampian does have a dress policy, and a reminder will be sent out via the organisation's daily brief to remind staff that the dress policy should always be adhered to.

Grace
