"Fantastic home care"

About: East Kilbride Locality Support Service / Community Nursing (ICST)

(as a relative),

My mum was diagnosed with terminal liver cancer around 15 months ago and has received palative care at home by the East Kilbride District nursing team. The need was particularly acute through January of this year until my mum sadly passed away at the end of the month.

During this time the care and attention provided was exemplary. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the nurses, which sometimes included unplanned calls in the early hours, to administer any medication required.

Myself and the family would like to give our heartfelt thanks to all of the team for giving us the confidence that she was receiving the best care possible during what was the most difficult time for us all.
