I visited A&E in Northwick Park yesterday as cancer patient having chemo. At the moment in Charing Cross Hospital.
I was seen promptly, bloods taken promptly. all the nurses and doctors were very helpful, caring and paid attention to details. Resolved any concerns, followed up promptly on diagnosis and treatment. Doctors from different departments looked at my condition and diagnosis. I was first seen by Laura, then a student dr. Wanted to have conversation, another dr went through problems in details, at the end Helena stepped in for final conclusion and I was released from hospital with appropriate medication and information. Helena was kind enough to call this morning to enquire how I was doing, this was excellent and reassuring, Helena went through in details of my condition and my understanding and awareness and resolution.
Very much appreciated.
I was dreading long wait at the A&E which wasn’t the case.
The whole experience exceeded my expectations.
