I had trouble with staying asleep and waking up much too early. I had some telephone appointments which is fine as who wants to traipse to the hospital if you can do it on the phone. Guidance was given and some very good videos gave information on how to improve the problem. Patients should note that its important to do what you are told . Its hard to follow some of the guidance, especially the one about getting up in the small hours and going to another room but I found that normally worked. None of this means I have a perfect sleep pattern but its a lot better than previously . If I wake up early, normally around 430 to use the bathroom I use one of the techniques suggested and will often go back to sleep . You have to stick at it and if I relapse, which does happen, I at least know how to tackle it.
what I have to do to get back on track.
