"Positive dental experience"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

(as a parent/guardian),

My teenage daughter came in to have several teeth removed with a local anaesthetic. The surgeon, Mark, and nurse, Julie, were both incredibly warm, gentle and clear in their communication, helping her to feel relaxed and in control of certain choices. They gave her options to know or not know what was going on, and with Harry Styles for company, she managed the whole thing brilliantly!

Seraphina's ater-care guidance was also really clear and helpful, with everything provided in writing for us to refer to afterwards. We are very grateful to this team for such a positive experience, and my daughter has no concerns about returning for the next extraction.

Dear StarGazer101,

Thank you for taking the time to send us your feedback. I am so pleased your daughters experience with us was a positive one and she has no concerns about returning for the next extraction.

I hope the recovery after the first extraction is going well. We look forward to seeing her back soon.

I have passed on your lovely feedback to Mark, Julie and Seraphina.

Best wishes

Sammy Ellaway
