"The best care I have ever experienced in hospital"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Breathing and lung problems (Respiratory Wards 7a, 7b, 7c & 7d)

(as a service user),

The staff on this ward are exceptional - the best care I have ever experienced in hospital. They made me feel safe and cared for. Despite being incredibly busy, everything ran smoothly. Special thanks to nurses Joy, Yasmin, Morven, Katherine, Doreen, Tina, John, Zoe and Noor, I deeply appreciate all you did for me...and always with a smile! Also thanks to David and Sean, who kept my room spotlessly clean.

As always Dr Anderson, my respiratory consultant, gave me incredible, thoughtful and kindly care. I can not thank him enough. Dr Deans was also tremendous and reassuring.

The QEUH visiting policy (allowing my family to come in throughout the day) is also fantastic and made a huge difference to both me and my family during my admission.
