I have taken tramadol for more than 10 yrs it was prescibed to me for my Rheumatoid Arthritis by my consultant. In April 2021 had heart attack and was taken into Whiston I knew I needed a triple bypass I was transferred to broad green for my op.
When the Medic I saw seen my meds they said ohh you shouldn't be on Tramadol we need to get you off. Need a pain clinic to get you off but not now. I went on to have a 6 graft bypass and was in hospital for 2 more weeks, all the while being told we will get you off tramadol. 12mths later I did it myself I got down to 4 a day..But needed help with the last 4. I was refereed to CGL. Even tho it wasn't really what they do they took me in and helped me. With there help I am down to 3 a day I am a work in progress and I am getting the help I need.
