After reading the testimonials, I feared the worst for my appointment-making experience because there was only one five-star review out of twenty-five.

 

However, either I'm uncharacteristically fortunate or the only people bothering to leave a review are those who had a bad experience with the process.

 

This will be of no comfort to these people, but I thought I'd offer my alternative experience for balance.

 

To begin with, I did not hear anything for three weeks after my GP appointment, but the doctor did say it would take two to three weeks. By no means ideal, but anticipated!

 

Saturday morning, I received a text from Yorkshire Health Solutions informing me that I should expect a phone call from them.

 

One hour later, I received the call from one of their agents.

The lady was pleasant, polite, concise, and clear.

 

I was offered an appointment the following Tuesday with a choice of times between noon and 5:30 p.m. at a location literally two minutes walk from my GP practise.

 

She explained everything I needed to know in order to prepare for my scan, and the entire experience was five stars in my opinion.

 

I'll be very happy if the actual scan appointment goes equally well.
