My Dad fell at home injuring his left shoulder. We arrived in the Emergency Department and after a short wait were triaged and sent round to Minors. He was treated with kindness and compassion by the trainee ENP then reviewed by the ENP and Consultant on duty. Every single one of these professionals are a credit to NHS Fife and the healthcare profession. I watched on as my Dad was cared for and treated for his injury. We were then discharged home with a clear plan. Thank you! You should be very proud of the staff on duty this morning!

Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience in our Emergency Department. It is lovely to hear that your Dad was treated with compassion, kindness and seen promptly by the team. What a worrying time for you and your Dad, it is good to note that he received the care and support required following his injury. Our aim is to provide safe, effective and person centred care, I am so happy that this indeed was your experience. I will make sure the team see your lovely feedback, they will be delighted. May I also take the opportunity to wish your Dad all the very best with his recovery and hope he is starting to feel better soon. I am very proud of the team in the Emergency Department and thank you again for highlighting your positive experience, it really means a lot to us in the busy Emergency Department in Kirkcaldy.
