"I received the highest possible standard of care"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus / Hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery

(as the patient),

Was admitted to QMC Nottingham

Nursed on few wards, including E15 due to onset of Acute Pancreatitis, followed by further serious complications.

During a 3-month stay I received the highest possible standard of care and treatments from Consultant Hepato-pancreatobiliary surgeon and team, Nurses/Care staff, OT/Physio, chaplain, housekeeping staff.

Would like to express my eternal gratitude to all those extremely caring and compassionate individuals, who (in my opinion) saved my life, during what was the first hospital admission in my life. Always felt in very safe hands which gave me the inner strength to fight and recover.

The words "thank you" seem inadequate!

Always indebted to you.

Wow, what fantastic feedback to receive! Thank you so much for sharing and posting this experience of our services.

Our staff constantly work hard to ensure that patients feel supported and well cared for and they will be so happy to hear that you felt this way.

I will send this across to the teams you have mentioned above and I know it will make their day!

May we take this opportunity to wish you a speedy recovery.
