My brother is autistic, has a fear of hospitals and becomes very anxious if he is kept waiting, particularly if the environment is noisy and busy with people.
The physiotherapist we saw was excellent. He saw my brother on time, so minimal waiting, in a side room, rather than a curtained cubicle, which was roomy and quiet. He clearly explained the process and asked us to provide the information we had. He examined my brother without touching him and provided clear and concise information for next steps.
It was an excellent consultation compared to previous experiences with other services where the professional had taken time to read and understand my brother's health passport in advance and reacted appropriately with his treatment plan. I want to thank the physiotherapist for his thoughtfulness, diligence and patience.
"Excellent experience"
