"The system is totally broken"

My daughter has just been discharged after 2 nights in Worthing aeu they thought she had meningitis and sent her home with infection of unknown origin. She's 20. The discharge note says urgent follow up with dr .... Except I can't get through the phone lines are not working. She has had a constant debilitating headache not alleviated by otc meds. She ended up having to go to aeu in the first place as she could not get a Dr face to face app and was told it was a viral infection. I have tried everything e consult is a total joke that takes time to answer questions only to be told sort yourself out at the end. The phone number to leave a message on the website doesn't work the link to leave an online message takes you to an error page and I phoned bang on 2pm to voicemail that all today's apps are booked. My daughter lives alone. What exactly should I do? As I said the system is broken!!!!

We're so sorry that you have such difficulty getting an appointment. If your daughter has still not been reviewed please call at 830 on Monday morning and we will arrange for her to be seen that day. Unfortunately we have had a number of staff members who have had to take time as they have been unwell.
