I attended day-care last week as I was was having a scan and I was to have my baby’s heart rate monitored. I was really nervous as it is my first baby. The staff were lovely and friendly and I was looked after by a particular staff member who told me what they were doing and why they needed to monitor my baby.
I was then shocked when another person came into the room, interrupted the person as they were explaining things to me and said they wanted to talk to them. They were standing at the door and the other person (I presume a midwife or manager) was horrible in the way they spoke to the staff member and in front of people. I felt so embarrassed for the staff member and so did the other person in the room. You could tell they were upset and just holding it together but they remained very professional and is such a caring person towards the patients.
I don’t know if the staff member will see this but I just wanted to thank them for helping support me when I really needed it and to keep up the good work.
