"Everyone was happy and helpful"

About: Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / Accident & Emergency

(as a relative),

My son had been unwell on Christmas Eve, and I soon recognised that he had croup. I took him up to A+E at the children’s hospital (RHC). All staff when we arrived were very friendly and helpful. We didn’t have to wait long before we were seen by the incredibly friendly and helpful triage nurse Emma, who soon had us sorted with what we needed and sent happily on our way. Emma really went above and beyond for us and made the whole experience as easy as could be. The department was busy but everyone was happy and helpful, well done to all.

Dear king23,

Sorry to hear your son was unwell and had to be brought up to our Emergency Department on Christmas Eve, I hope he is doing much better now and is recovering well. Thank you for taking the time to post on Care Opinion and your lovely comments re the staff being friendly and helpful, in particular Emma whom I will make sure is aware of the comments of your post as I am sure she will be very appreciative of them and in particular "she went above and beyond".

Kind Regards

Mandy
