"Challenging but helpful"

About: Community Forensic Services / Nottinghamshire MBT Service

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I have just completed the MBTi group and found it challenging, yet helpful. I felt it helped me with my understanding and insight and was a space to be open and honest. I found the group facilitators amazing – knowledgeable and supportive and response to each of our individual needs sensitively.

I would have liked longer sessions to better acquaint myself with the therapy and concepts. Possibly look at some changes to the booklet too, to help hold notes on the sessions and not miss anything.

Thank you for this feedback, it's lovely to hear that you had such a positive experience of the MBTi group and the facilitators. I will make sure this feedback gets shared with the team. I can understand what you say in terms of the group being challenging but helpful and I hope its helped set the scene for any future MBT Therapy, if this is the next step for you.

I will ensure your feedback about the sessions and booklet are shared with the team as I understand that they are in the process of undertaking a review of the MBTi programme so this is very timely, thank you.

Wishing you all the best for the future, Louisa
