"Staff showed empathy, professionalism and care"

About: Vale of Leven General Hospital / General Medicine (Lomond Ward)

(as a relative),

In December I brought my dad into the Medical Assessment Unit at the Vale of Leven Hospital via Ambulance.

The nursing staff & night shift doctor, whom I work closely with everyday in a inter-professionalism working relationship showed nothing but empathy, professionalism and care towards my own dad. They showed respect towards myself.

My experience with the medical staff touched me personally and I will never forget my experience with the staff.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback on Care Opinion.

I was sorry to hear your dad had to attend the Medical Assessment Unit of the Vale of Leven Hospital.

I was however, delighted to hear you both had such a pleasant experience in what must have been difficult circumstances.

It was wonderful to hear how the staff treated you both with dignity and respect throughout your dad's journey.

I will be sure to pass on your thanks to the staff within the department who I'm sure will be touched to hear such glowing feedback.

I hope your dad's feeling a lot better now.
