(as the patient),

I had slid on black ice and sustained a complex fracture of my right wrist which required surgical Open Reduction and Internal Fixation.

I was admitted urgently on Sunday morning. I received very warm, friendly and personal care and attention from Tracy and Laura who were the nurses on duty in the Day Surgery Unit. I also received exceptional care from the doctor on duty, anaesthetic team and my surgeon Mr Miller.

Everything was discussed and thoroughly explained throughout my care. I received very personal, caring and clinically exceptional surgical care.
