After collapsing following a cardiac episode, I was admitted onto Daisy Hill Hospital's Coronary Care Ward where I have been for the last 12 weeks. My experience began in the Emergency Department. It was great here and all the staff were good. I was seen to quite quickly but I did have to wait a while for my bloods to come back.
It has been absolutely brilliant on Coronary Care. The nurses really couldn't do enough for me. The staff all have a good attitude - great in fact. They also always make sure to take their time and explain everything very clearly. couldn't single anybody out in particular as they have all been good. The toilets have been kept clean and the food has been good.
I have no suggestions for improvement - except the fact that there were no ambulances that could come to me in time to bring me to the hospital. Everything else has been grand.
