About: NHS 24 / Mental Health Hub

I'd like to pass on my thanks to Kat from the NHS 24 Mental Health Service for her care and compassion during a call to her yesterday morning.

I called for advice and support regarding my partner, who was having a mental health crisis. She was able to triage and provide reassurance and support which both of us found extremely helpful.

By using this service we were able to access appropriate emergency support and avoid a distressing and likely unnecessary trip to A&E. Our heartfelt thanks and appreciation for this valuable service and to Kat herself.

Thank you so much for your lovely complimentary feedback for Kat, a staff member within our Mental Health Hub. I'm so pleased to read of the positive impact this had on you and your partner. It sounds as though Kat did an amazing job in providing support and reassurance which ultimately avoided a trip to A&E.
