(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I've just come from low-secure to Forest Close.  The main difference is the freedom, and being more trusted (i.e. sharps, razor etc. also less security such as fences, time you can go out on leave).

The OT's help more with jobs volunteering, transport, to be more independent, living skills, using local transport, supporting you etc.

I am glad that this experience seems to be quite positive for you as it makes a big difference when trying to integrate back into the community environment.
