"Accident and emergency COVID screening bay"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus / Accident and emergency

(as a service user),

I did not want to use the accident and emergency service knowing how overwhelmed services were at present but forced to when when things took a turn for the worse which was scary. I was treated on the evening of the 5th December from 18:00 every person from Front desk through to pharmacy should be praised for their care, compassion and Professionalism. The staff in A and E were all so caring, attentive and listened . The service was first class and working in the NHS myself made me very proud. They were there in my time and need and they were all exceptional and want them all to know how appreciated they are! You are all making such a different to people’s lives you inspiring people. Thank you 😊

Thank you for your excellent feedback. We know currently people may be anxious about having to attend hospital in a genuine emergency and we are grateful to you for sharing your own experience of our Emergency Department, which others reading will hopefully feel reassured by. We are glad that you felt you experienced good service from everyone you encountered and we will share your kind words with the Emergency Department team.

You are welcome, hopefully this will give the hard working staff the pick up they need and ‘good’ is being very modest I would say the service was exceptional!!
