I went in for elective surgery in November 2022 to the GRI Orthopaedic Unit Surgical Block. I was so impressed by the process of events. It was professional, organised and every single member of the Orthopaedic Team were amazing. I was treated with dignity, respect and kindness which allayed my fears prior to operation.
Post op I was transferred to Ward 27, again the standard of my care and treatment was exceptional. I would like to give my sincere thanks to Miss Madely and every single member of NHS staff that was involved in my surgery and after care.
I am aware that NHS are presently working under extreme pressure and while not all patients receive this level of care, I can only give my personal opinion of my own experience and respect for NHS staff.
Thank you
"The standard of my care and treatment was exceptional"
