Recently my mum attended the Breast Cancer Clinic at Craigavon Area Hospital.  Having worked myself as a nurse, I found myself at the other side of the table, at my mum's side accompanying her to the clinic.   Right from the front entrance of the clinic, through to the investigation unit, we met a team of nurses, doctors, radiologist who made us feel at ease, supporting my mum at every step of this journey.

Everything was explained to us, investigations occurred swiftly, and we were given the results that day. Lauren/Laura HCA, Dr Scally, Annie, Lucy have been very supportive, caring and have demonstrated empathy and professionalism at all times. The breast care nurses specialist are fantastic and we left the clinic feeling assured we have a team supporting us and if ever we needed to talk to anyone, mum can call at any time, thank you so much

Thank you for taking the time to share you and your mum's experience of our Breast clinic As lead radiographer for the breast team within Craigavon hospital it is so reassuring for me to read your very positive comments.

All members of the breast team strive to deliver the highest standard of care during these difficult times, and it is very encouraging to hear this standard is being provided and has been positive for patients and their families.
