About: Peterhead Community Hospital / Maternity

(as a service user),

Had a great experience giving birth to my first child. 

Peterhead maternity unit was lovely, it’s such a nice unit and the suites are brilliant. Such a caring, relaxing environment that puts you at ease. 

The staff at the maternity unit were all fantastic, I couldn’t have asked for better care. 

They were brilliant with me, my newborn baby girl and my birth partners. 

I travelled an hour to attend to the maternity unit as I really wanted a birthing pool, I was delighted that I managed to get this for part of my labour. 

I would highly recommend anyone to go to Peterhead Maternity unit.
