Attended rehab following a long battle with alcoholism and drugs. I felt unlistened to by addiction services and NHS.
I was told I was getting a new addiction support worker who pushed me to be the best person. She helped me get a place in rehab and started the path on a new recovery. I now attend addiction services weekly and have great supports in the community. I have now felt well supported by my support worker.
Addictions services have changed my outlook on life.
