"Impossible to contact department by phone"

About: Manchester Royal Eye Hospital

Anything else?

Excellent care, however I have a simple question about the medication that I am for the two months before my follow up appointment. So I rang the enquiry phone no on the back of my appointment card 0161 276 5533 and it cuts off after ringing for a certain time. tried it again and same. Tried it a day later and the same! Rang the main hospital no 0161 276 1234 and then asked to be put through to the Dept A in Eye Hospital, constant ringing out and it auto transfers back to the switchboard. After it came back to the switch board for the third time, the lady gave me the direct no. I have rang the direct no many times and it just constantly rings and rings, with no answer. Tell me what to do and please, you do not need to reply with 'we are sorry about what has happened here' etc. This situation needs to be sorted out for other patients as well as myself. Please tell me how I can find a contact to speak to about my medication?
