What I liked

I had knee arthroscopy on 17.1.08 at King George Hospital, Barley Lane. The treatment and care I received were exemplary. My thanks go to the surgeons and other members of the nursing staff who were very kind and helpful as were the catering staff. They all seemed to be very cheerful which was great. The bay I was in was clean and bright. My compliments to everyone concerned.

What could be improved

I understand that headsets were to be provided to listen to the radio. The same would be good if anyone wanted to hear what was being said on TV. Perhaps a small directional reading lamp could also be provided, as well as the large downlights over the beds so that books etc. could be read without disturbing other patients.
