"Disgusted with the care we recieved"

After being advised to take our 2 year old daughter to a and e yesterday after concerns of a penny she swollowed a while ago being stuck in her bowels, I was absolutely disgusted in the way we were treated! I over heard 2 nurses talking about us and how we was basically wasting there time and causin people with "actual" accidents and emergencies to wait hours to be seen. When we did get seen by a doctor he lectured us on how we shouldn't be there and how he would be his years salary on the penny not being there, he didn't examin my daughter nor did he test her urine sample we had gave in to rule out a water infection and told us he was rufusing to X-ray her as to many parents want to X-ray there children for superficial reasons, I did not sit in a and e all afternoon to be told off by this doctor and to hear nurses complaining about us wasting their time, I sat there because I was genuinely concerned about my daughter as was my doctor who sent me! I cannot believe how we was treated in what is suppose to be childrens a and e department, I was absolutely disgusted in the lack of care my daughter recieved! I will never ever be taking my children back to this hospital as I think the staff lack care and compassion
