"treatment as a renal patient"

About: Addenbrooke's Hospital

Anything else?

As a dialysis patient in my 10th year at this hospital and 37 years at a superior hospital I find that the quality of care and the standard of care is very poor. There is no encouragement for patients to help themselves, the staff can't even decide the right way to button hole. They have all got there own idea. You have to endure abuse off a fellow patient and at the end of the day you are the one who is threatened at a kangaroo court of being thrown out and dialysing somewhere else bearing in mind I travel 25 mile under my own steam to get here. Not a happy bunny!

We were sorry to learn of your concerns. Based upon the description of your posting I believe I know who you are and I am familiar with your case. In the circumstances I think it would be a breach of your confidentiality and the other patient you mention if I were to respond on this forum. Of course you are welcome to discuss your concerns with PALS.
