Went into A&E in absolute agony with my back. Could barely walk or stand. The pain was horrific and I am not a whiner and have a high pain threshold generally. The doctor treated me like I was wasting his time and told me to go see my GP. He made me feel very small. I turned out my disc was completely prolapsed and my consultant, following a scan said 'I was sitting in a time bomb'. I was operated on a week later. Would be very reluctant to go there again considering I was brushed off when something very serious was happening in my body.
