"I felt that I had beaten a bully that had plagued my life all those years"

About: Inclusion Matters Sefton

(as the patient),

After suffering with O. C. D for over 30 years I thought I would never overcome it. When I went to talking therapies I was shown the proven methodology of how to overcome it, and it was conducted in a pleasant relaxed environment in a one to one basis with an expert practitioner.

Within a few weeks I had absorbed the method and was able to implement it in relation to my own circumstances.

I was surprised how quickly and easily I was able to eliminate the O. C. D. I felt that I had beaten a bully that had plagued my life all those years. I felt my mind had been freed to focus on what I want, not having to waste time on O. C. D.

Now I have the know how I am confident I would be able to deal with any relapse.

The practitioners were patient, caring and courteous. All the staff I came into contact with were pleasant, professional and polite.

The only thing I thought could be improved would be to have background information on the condition, and the outline of the methodology. This would compliment the notes the service user takes to be kept for future reference.
