About: Maidstone District General Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics Preston Hall Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

Impossible to get them to answer the phone. Sandra the receptionist holds the fort well, but single handed it seems.

3 years ago I had 10 appointments there, and 8 out of the 10 times they had the wrong name and address. So far this time I've been told I don't exist, even with the latest secret number and password.

So far I have had to pay for a private scan, £399, and then told I have to wait nearly 2 weeks for someone to be there to read the scan results. The NHS could give me no idea how long for an appointment. The person I spoke to sounded stupid and said she might be sending out some appointments this afternoon but didn't know. I felt this person seemed unemployable.

If I can find this page again, I'll let you know how I'm getting on.
