What I liked

Friendliness of staff. Level of care, particularly A&E. If people didn't waste the hospital's time by turning up with minor ailments that can be dealt with by a trip to the chemist then the service would be even better. I'm sure people complain just for the sake of it - this hospital is doing its very best to improve and as far as I am concerned, is succeeding.

What could be improved

Visited A&E last week with an asthma attack, within 15 minutes of arriving I was on a nebuliser. Had various blood tests and was constantly monitored for the 3 hours that I was there. No complaints at all; the staff were friendly and efficient. I was also admitted a couple of years ago with a severe attack and spent a week in hospital - the staff were excellent, as was the treatment, food, etc. I don't know what all these people are complaining about the overall standard has improved considerably over the last few years and I applaud the Trust and staff - well done!
