Anything else?
I am completely & utterly flabbergasted at the NHS Essex Hospitals, namely Southend & Broomfield, as are those involved in my care. My health has deteriorated rapidly over the last 2 years. I've had numerous tests, on a multitude of medications, a recent bronchoscopy, biopsy & wash-out of lungs, colonoscopy, MRI's...etc. Both hospitals are very aware of my condition, indeed I am under consultants in both. So can somebody, anybody please tell me why I have been discharged from 2 clinics, Heart & Lung Clinic @ Southend & Pain Clinic @ Broomfield, because for 2 consecutive appointments (duely cancelled in advance) I have been too unwell to attend? What do I do now? I am waiting further surgery on my bowel, already postponed after lung biopsy showed nasty infection...now they'v discharged me where does that leave my planned surgery...Is this a failure of duty of care. No-ones explained to me, despite asking, it is just so blatently obvious that the NHS just does not care......too much pen-pushing & not enough of what it's supposed to be about... caring for people. Seems only thing anyone cares about is money, Health....they just do not care. Whats the point in trying to get better...or is that the idea?
