Anything else?
I visited ent today with my daughter and grandson who had been referred by our doctor the same day as they feared a return of mastoiditis that my grandson had been admitted with on previous occasion. We were seen within minutes of sitting down in waiting room the problem started when we were told it would take half hour for prescription to be issued , so we waited then went back to pick it up only to be told it still wasnt ready and we would have to wait by this time my grandson was in pain and crying so we took him back to car and went back half hour later and it still wasnt ready it eventually took one hour and twenty five minutes to get his meds by this time we had a very distressed six year old who was in a lot of pain this is a unacceptable amount of time to have to wait for a prescription to be issues if we had of lived closer to hospital we would of just called back later on but as we live in Gateshead we had to wait we explained this to the man on pharmacy and that we had a child in pain and distressed who had waited for one and a half hours and all we got was a shrug of the shoulders this was disgraceful i just hope we never have to visit this hospital again any time soon
