Following surgery on 7th May I was recovering in the Geddington ward. Nurses were very polite and professional. They explained what they are doing and patient with me. I had room all to myself which was really lovely, bathroom was cleaned and bedlinen changed daily (I had to stay for two nights). I was discharged at lunch but since my husband was down in London and unable to pick me up, they let me stay and provided dinner until he came to collect me in the evening. The ward is in Treatment Centre I believe and was purpose built. Hospital stay is essentially unpleasant but they made it as comfortable as possible.
