Anything else?
I delivered my baby in this hospital last week after being transferred in from my planned home birth. I was hugely disappointed in the standard of care I received there - from being forced to walk down to the visitors section in the middle of my labour to say goodbye to my dad who drove me into hospital because the useless security guard wouldn't let him in to see me and even swore at us for asking if he could come and see me to being lied to about the availability of the anaesthetist and then waiting 9 hours to get a check up on my baby when I had been asking all day for someone to do it. There were administrative errors, we were blatantly lied to by the staff and the whole thing was a shambles from start to finish. Frankly I am disgusted by the way me and my family were treated by people who are employed to care for patients and I would strongly advise you to consider before going here. I discharged myself the same day I went in against the advice of midwives due to my emergency forceps delivery, as I felt unsafe and uncared for.
"Extremely disappointed and upset"
