I wanted to have my 2nd mountain bike accident surgery attended to at this hospital because of the fantastic result and care I received 2 years ago when my fractured wrist was plated. My wrist is as if nothing ever happened. My clavicle has had a Rockwood pin skewered through it to hold the many bits back together. From being in A&E, to a month down the line I cannot fault anything. When I asked to speak to staff and physios through anxiety I was able to. The nurses on Ward 5 were all great. And finally my results speak for themselves as to the skill of my surgeon who gave me a decent insight into the surgery (and metalwork) I have received. Why would I pay for private care when I get such good care from NHS? I wouldn't.
