About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske)

Anything else?

my partner was sent to a the e on the recommendation of his doctor it was a quiet shift we arrived at 1pm and as left to wait and wait and wait as he was un well he asked for a trolley he did get this but from then it went from bad to worse, the staff of which there seemed to be about 2.5 to each patient where unmanaged and totally chaotic they seemed to be running around in circles getting no where walking from one end of the ward to the other and then returning with out doing anything it was mind blowing to watch every time a member off staff spoke to him they asked the same question whilst writing it down without passing the information on, the ward was cold and at 7.05 in the morning he was offered a blanket bearing in mind he arrived at 1pm.all the while you felt ignored the staff changeover shift was the worse they all arrived on mass and had a huge meeting discussing there lottery and where they where going that night , one unbelievably scruffy nurse arrived on the ward wearing filthy trainers picked her nose scratched her breast and then with out washing her hand started work it was unbelievable ,they are also having renovation work carried out and patents were left in these areas on trollies, ive always supported the profession with the belief that politicians should not get involved but something needs to be done this cant carried on he checked himself out at 11.50 the next day after some tests which took far to long all you where told all night someone will be with you in a moment only to be left for hours it was totally shambolic
