I am so sorry for the inconvenience you have experienced regarding your husbands cancelled operations. We are working hard to minimise cancellations but regrettably some patients, who are undergoing routine surgery, have had to have their procedure spostponed due to an above average increase in emergency admissions.

Please do not worry about being allowed to see your husband following his operation. Our visiting times are from 6pm 8pm in the evening and 2pm-4pm in the afternoon. Ward managers also have discretion to allow visitors to come in outside of these hours and I would suggest you discuss your concerns with the ward manager when your husband is admitted.

I would also be happy to help in anyway if you wish to contact me directly on (01733) 678022.
