Anything else?
I cannot fault the a&e department but as soon as I was moved to a ward which was the only one with a bed it was a different story. Often my medication was forgotten I had to remind the staff to give it to me, My room was not cleaned in the four days I was there although the bins were emptied daily, On having my first shower I tipped a chair over to get rid of the water on the top of it and dried blood and and something that should have gone down the toilet also something that resembled a maggot dropped to the floor I told a nurse and she came and scooped it all up in a towel and left, not bothering to clean the floor properly and as for the food well it all sounded lovely on the menu but I couldnt get a sandwich without butter nor a roast meal without gravy, the coffee was that weak and the the toast was that soft and soggy you couldnt chew it. Thank goodness for visitors and costa cafe.
